Student Papers
The study of co-operatives is constantly evolving. Each generation develops its own understandings of what is most important in the varied co-operative traditions. Each generation emphasizes its own most needed forms of co-operative enterprise; each generation stresses the ideas within the co-operative tradition that best address its needs and aspirations.
It is in that spirit that BCICS encourages students of co-operatives -- in high schools, colleges and universities -- to submit essays about co-operatives for publication on this web page. Within our capacities, BCICS will publish selections of the essays it receives on the understanding that we will not change their content nor be responsible for editing them. We publish them too on the understanding that BCICS may not always agree with the opinions expressed, although we are always delighted to hear the views of students seeking to make sense of the co-operative experience.
